As an update to my original post... I was stationed on the Spotted Bear Ranger district on the Flathead National Forest, Kalispell, Montana. SB is the most remote RD in the lower 48. At that time - 1963 - there was a gravel road down either side of the Hungry Horse Reservoir that met at the south end where the Middle Fork of the Flathead River fed the lake. The ranger station was another 3 miles up river from there. I could skip all over from back in there. Spotted Bear was a natural handle. SB :biggrin_25525:

Dang! Kalispell, western Montana was my boyhood home (Missoula). Nothing but fond memories from back then. Bein' so young, had all the benefits and none of the responsibilities.

They call me Panda, I cannot say why, except it involves two girls of varying skin color.

I was tagged with 'Silver Fox' in May of 75' at the tender age of 19 because of a metallic silver Pontiac with a Johnson 123 radio. These days, I'm the Silver Fox because I'm now silver haired, and much less 'foxxy'. LOL. :biggrin_255:

You didn't happen to have been a Werner trainer back in 1999 or so did you?
