Just what I said. It costs a company time and money to put someone in a truck and when that persons history shows it will be so short lived as to be a waste of their time and money they will be unlikely to hire that person unless they are desperate.

Hopefully this latest one is a good fit and works out for you and you can stick it out for a couple of years at the least.

Good luck with Transport America, sometimes when I'm pissed off at a company I try to do something that makes me fell better, as long as this something doesn't have a negative impact. I usually take me a nap and if I'm not tired read a magazine, If you can't do neither because you have to drive this is good because most people can drive 11 hours easy when their pissed off.

It hurts your chances in any type of employment if you jump from job to job not just trucking.

Job hopping isn't your biggest problem, it's constantly going back to the mega-carriers for more punishment! Keep going to the mega-carriers and you will keep switching jobs, which in turn will mean that only mega-carriers will hire you! Vicious circle huh!? Don't worry, eventually you will run out of mega-carriers to work for!

When he said TA I thought he meant Trans AM! OK Transport America doesn't get the bad rap that TA does but OP you really need to stick it out with Transport America! Just hang in there till your hire date next year then AFTER that date make your decision!

Yeah it might bite big time but if you screw this one up I doubt seriously that you'll be given another chance! I mean if some O/O of a small company offers you that pasture with greener grass comes along and you jump ship only to find out that the greener pastures were artificial turf then you'll have screwed the pooch big time!

Eat poo at TA for a year or longer then decide on what course you want to take!

We all have eaten our poo sandwich and had to enjoy it so you do the same!
Good luck and stay with any sinking ship that pulls into port for a while!

CHOMPI and just who is going to HIRE the multitudes of new or fairly newTRUCK drivers if not the MEGA CARRIERS.

You preach a good story but then support those that chose your old employer ( CENTRAL ) who is just a downsized version of a MEGA CARRIER which is owned by the owner of a MEGA CARRIER./
