The USB port on the unit, not the cable.

E-mail me with a reminder and I will forward it up to Rand Support... You will be issued an RMA for a replacement.

    Thanks,
    Mark

If your DC USB connecter... the end that goes into the TND seems a little loose,, slightly and I mean slightly squeeze it together.. from top to bottom... not side to side

    thanks,
    mark

I got a new 700 replacement yesterday. What I want to know if they have beefed up the usb port on the unit or is the port going to get loose in a few months again. I have a suggestion that in future models they put the power port on the bottom of the unit. That way on the bottom it won't be bouncing up and down as we drive. I have had a TomTom for about 4 years that gets the power from the bottom and have not had any power cord problems with it. In fact I use my TomTom and 700 at the same time there are some things the TomTom does that the Rand doesn't that I like that's I like having both on at the same time.

Good suggestion... what I have found at truck stops is a cable where the USB port goes 90 degrees down... works well... RM is looking at that route also..

    Thanks,
    Mark
