depends on where the freight is and how much you go home, Im averaging about 2500-3000 a week, did 2700 miles last week, this week will be 3600+. Im not sure what company drivers are getting as far as pay increases.

mikley,,don't mean to be a pain but i'm been thinking very seriously about driving for a while... are you company or lease,,and I see you've been driving for about a year,,if I went in now what could i expect paywise on average,,again i've been following here for awhile and i see there's alot a play, mostly from what i've seen is attitude,,willing to put the work in ,,understanding you have to take the good with the bad runs

I was told by a dispatcher that my company is doing a non-published pay raise for me and others hired after June 2008. I guess they lowered the pay for regional drivers by .02 at that time. Now they are giving it back.
So I will be at .41 cpm now. -
Well it was fun while it lasted, had an awesome truck, but there was how should we say it, Financial problems. Ok my paycheck BOUNCED, so I cleaned the truck out last night. I already talked to Werner again, I left on good terms, they are going to take me back as a rehire Walmart here I come, LOL.
I don't work for free, there is no exscuse for a settlement to bounce, the boss was a nice guy, but I think he was counting on freight contracts he didn't have and over extended . Although he said he hopes to be running again by July, I will always have a truck if I want to come back since I live so close to his yard.
But for now at least I have a job. -
I rarely go home so the mileage per week isn't too much of a problem.
