As far as "do what I say or else", we personally did not have that problem, the line I heard was "do what you can". And as far as miles, sure we sat a few times, and we have rescued a few tomato loads, but for the most part, we had all the miles we could handle. Very few weeks did we ever go below 5500 miles. In fact we have shut down in Florida for 24 hours or more on our own, and went to a real nice motel.

Hello to all my fellow and fellowette JCT'ers! Been busy rollin and trying to dodge the snow. Somehow I seem to keep finding the snow. Miles are great, truck is running like a champ. Unfortunately, at the shop now getting manifold gasket and a few other minor repairs. Be back on the road soon. Where is all the Apple Pie Gang hiding out at?

Be careful there Kinghunter, Swift does not have much freight at all. Way to many drivers for the amount of freight available. Very poor planning also as they rely on the computers way to much.

Be careful what you wish for. I'm currently snow-bound near Toledo. But I'm sure you're ready for the road regardless of the conditions.

I don't know, on my front porch it's 70 degrees and sunny. Me and the wife are getting ready to take a walk along the beach

Just wondering, i'm thinking about coming to JCT. Being a lease op if i have a dot card and recent long form do they still make you take a physical, also when taking home time can you request your time off in any state?

They will give you a physical, and a pee test. Yes they will let you take home time anywhere, as long as the equipment is secure. Truck stops do not count
