    If you are a 6.0 ft 220 lb tight end for the Greenbay Packers, you would be physically challenged according to the illucid BMI index.
    Body mass index is weight in lbs time 703 then divided by height in inches squared.

    Weight = (225lbs x 703) or 158175
    Height ( 72 in x 72 in)squared or 5184
    158175/5184 = 30.5

    Table: BMI Weight Status
    ===================
    18 to 25 = Normal
    26 to 30 = Overweight
    30 and Over = Obese
    40 and Over = Morbid Obese

    Of course they don't cost "the government" money! Its a statistical fact that smokers and overweight people use more medical resources and sick days - so they cost businesses money. But there is medicare and medicaid, isn't there? That's government, but its your money.

    Okay... we've covered smokers and fat people. What about women? We have bewbies. Will ya'll be suggesting we have those removed to reduce the costs of treating breast cancer? And need I remind you that having a prostate is risky, too... :biggrin_25524:

    Gimme a break, folks...

    My thoughts on health care run more toward our litigious society that keeps doctors practicing defensive medicine and paying exhorbitant malpractice insurance rates.

    It is shortage of qualified drivers, as there are more than enough steering wheel holders out there.
