I was going to lease on to jones motor express out of copper cove texas the terminal manager is bubba williams he says one thing and then does another the recruiter is dave wilder he says one thing and says something different the next time you talk to him i requested a copy of the lease agreement had to call jones motor company in limerick pa. And talk to john batten to get a copy of the lease agreement.. I read the lease agreement and it stated that #1.driver will be paid 15 days after receipt of all logs bill of lading and fuel receipts bubba will tell you that they pay 48 hours after each trip and not to worry about what it says in the lease agreement and he asked how did i obtain a copy of the lease agreement he also said the lease agreement i had was wrong they had a different one and i can tell you all i had the right one.. It also stated in the lease agreement that all contractors will unload the freight at there own expense and bubba williams said that all frieght was no touch and that he would email me a new copy of the lease agreement along with 5 or 6 names and cell numbers of owner operators currently leased to the company for more than six months well after and hour went by i called jones express and dave wilder was on the phone with me he said that bubba went home for the day and he also said that bubba could not legally give me the names and cell numbers of drivers under contract with jones motor express i told dave wilder that bubba said he would email a copy of the lease well i never got the email that bubba promised so in conclusion i have learned that jones express is a bottom feeder company and bubba is lower than mule dung....

I was leased on to Jones Express, out of Copperas Cove, Tx. in '07/'08. Bubba was indeed the terminal manager. I had no complaints with him or anyone at Jones Express. Jones Express is actually run out of Pa. All payroll, paperwork, corporate decisions are done in Pa. Licensing, permits, everything. Copperas Cove is basically a dispatch facility for trucks running the west coast lanes. They do recruit out of Copperas Cove. Jones Express has been around since 1894. They're payroll is right on. I never unloaded or paid for any lumpers while there.

This message is to allow me : You are trucker forum staff and you worked for jones express i would be willing to bet you are a dispatcher or a broker for jones motor company it seems to me that the drivers who complain about a company are mostly drivers and the people who are reporting a good company are probably 30 percent drivers and 70 percent fleet managers recruiters and other low life scum????????????????

Jones Motor is a flatbed/steel hauling company, or am I thinking of another one?

I'm simply telling you what I said in the post. I don't work there anymore, never was a dispatcher/broker. I'm retired, and because Jones Express treated me well, I felt the need to tell other people my experience there. Sorry you didn't give them a chance.

Jones motor group out of Limerick, Pa./Spring City, Pa. Jones Express, and Jones Hot Shot, all under the same umbrella. Vans (dry) and flatbed. 100% O/O's.

I'm confused. Diesel smoker wanted to L/O with Jones and the contract stated he would be paid 15 days after receipt, but he asked Bubba the fleet manager(not payroll) and he told him they usually payout in 48 hours. Dieselsmoker never leased to find out if this is true or not, but has declared that Bubba is a liar. Allow Me was an O/O at Jones and shared his postive experience with Jones and that he never had problems with payment and since his experience is positive he must be a low life scum recruiter or manager.
