I really don't get why ppl smoke cigarettes or cigars! When I was a teenager I smoked cigarettes for about one month , mainly because I was bored and trying to get high by putting toothpaste on it lol. ( my friend who was locked up ,came out of jail got us doing that lol. But after that one of my friends who actually been smoking cigarettes for a couple of years told me to stop because he didn't want me getting addicted.
I stop smoking cigarettes, wasn't hard because I didn't like it anyway. Then I started smoking weed! !!!!!!! Yes glorious weed! !!!! Ahhhhhhhh lol. Made my mind up after the first time of smoking weed, that if I was to smoke anything in life! That would be it, so of course now I don't but I'm sure am glad that I never got hooked on CIGARETTES !

Oh my bad I never answered the original ? Lol. I think it's because smoke gets into the interior of the truck and is hard to get out.

I guess you didn't read the part of my post addressing that exact point. I have no trouble keeping my truck clean and odor free...I think it shows it just takes a little effort on the smoking driver's part...it isn't like we don't have time to do it...after all how many can actually sleep 10 hours every day...we aren't young teenagers are we? Who else can sleep the day away after all?:biggrin_25525:

Good grief! You can't believe every study you read. They can make any study give whatever results they want........it all depends on interpretation.

Oh Bigron 33rd That is great! You made me laugh!:biggrin_25523: The second half your message that is, the weed part anyway. I smoke cigarettes but I never smoked in my Home. I do smoke in my car it is a have too.(living and driving in HOUSTON Tx.) But I never smell like it nor does my car. I suppose my truck will not either. You just keep it clean and roll the windows down. Febreze is great stuff!

I am surprised that DOT has not yet made it illegal to smoke in a CMV. As the DOT is considering rules to make it illegal to touch your cell phone while driving a CMV.

We should start a pool. My bet is that on 12-31-2012 smoking in a CMV will be illegal.

I was trying to shell some peanuts the other day when driving, and I found it impossible to do both, as I kept dropping the peanut after I had it shelled.

I have figured out the best way to use my cell phone, which I do not use much anyway, is to hold it my left hand and steer with left elbow if I am shifting with my right hand...if not shifting, I can steer with my right hand.

It is a lot easier to hold a cigarette than a cell phone.

You might be surprised on how you smell.

I was at a bank doing a deposit slip and the guy that walked in and stopped acrossed from me had been walking across the big shopping center parking lot.

As soon as he got there, I could smell the nicotine and cigarette smell on him.

    These are yes/no questions:

    Do seat/shoulder belts save lives???

Is smoking cigarettes hazardous to your health??

Do you belive your answers to these two questions are predictive of how long a person will live, on average??

    *sigh*

The question was why do they ask, speaking of Swift specifially.
The answer is for compatibility between you and your mentor. There is nothing about it more complicated than that.

As usual, whenever a question is asked about anything to do with smoking, it becomes an invitation for non-smokers and ex~smokers to preach about how horrible smoking is because they don't like it. Well, I'm going to smoke whether you like it or not and I'm tired of hearing about it.

I am so out of this discussion.

just lil me, Hamshoe, lunaglow and 2 others Thank this.
