Had a minor incident in training. Will they send me packing?

that's about right. They'll be gentle in taking the money out. Small amounts, just longer.
Safety will talk with you. You'll watch some videos. do some backing on the hill and probably a road test to the TA where you'll back into some slots for practice.
Take your lumps, chalk it up to experience and you'll be fine.
We all have stories of our first year, whether we admit it or not.
Go up a few posts. At least you didn't put your trailer in the bay!

 

The way I see it, the more practice backing I get, the better! So I'll take it. Could always be worse.

 

backing is the #1 skill new drivers need to work on most.
keep at it. It will get better.

last post was 6 days ago. maybe he's out running and hasn't made it home yet. Either that maybe (yet hopefully not) something happened.

 

The main thing to remember when first starting out (anytime really) is to take everything slow

Don't rush things bad things happen when you're in a hurry or tired
