Say thank you to the local DA for allowing the adjudication to be handled by a jury of his peers! //

They should have a re-call election for that SOB!

Spokane has been really having $$$ problems and laying off fire and police....so the DA costs the city/county a few thousand...TAKE THE COSTS OUT OF THE DA's SALARY!

    Big Don Thanks this.

Why the heck would the store have pursued this? Something isn't right here.

Blessed be the self righteous for they shall keep the lawyers well fed.

DA is a lawyer, not a particularly smart one in this case, either.:biggrin_25513:

WA is the same as many states...just because there is an arrest, or complaint filed, the D/A has the final say in prosecuting or not.

As for the reason the store owner went to the police...who knows perhaps some "bad blood" between the two in the past...racial/political/religious differences...who knows!

Well, thank God...now the store owners can concentrate on the REAL felons...you know, those who take an excessive number of ketchup packets...
