Regions to Central are se, ne, mid-west, west. They aren't small chunks of the country. I am kraft dedicated SE but spend a lot of time in Upstate NY, TX and Il. mainly moving product into the south and moving raw product out of the south.

As for time, I lucked into it 30 days after going solo.

Sounds like you got really lucky. Any advice on how to make it through training and the time with a trainer?

Okay, I am Chris, aka civilsig, making a big descision to change careers out of necessity, from engineering to trucking.
I am going to be starting with Central Refrigerated in the next couple of weeks.
I need new information about the company, trucking in general and just how many of the horror stories are true and how many are overly exaggerated.
    Thanks

Hello to all. I'm a long time reader, but never posted on this thread. I'm a former CRS driver and currently drive local intermodal for Schneider in Los Angeles. This thread helped me choose CRS as my first company, thanks to all of you :biggrin_25514: . To all the newbies and recent grads, good luck and congratulations! There are far worse companies you could have gone to. Hope everyone is doing well :biggrin_25525:. Oh, and watch yourself around JDTTrucker. He trained on Coors Dedicated :biggrin_2559:

Are you in school or with a trainer? Or are you researching trucking companies?
