YEP.... Paris, TX Jenks, OK and the place in Kansas are all Kimberly Clark loads, and go from DC to DC. If you can run say the paris to Jenks, you would have a load/reload everyday w/o any deadhead. Just an idea

I park 20 feet from my house so that's not really a problem but I do wish there was more search functions on the board. Landstars board you could search by destination which helps when looking for connecting loads. you could also set alerts like if you wanted a to know when a load was posted from dallas for more then $2/mi then every time a load was posted that matched that it would text you or email to your phone. that helped. I've noticed I'm not on the board when loads are posted. I'm an early morning person so I wake up about 6 and look at the board quick then I start trucking and won't look again untill that evening. by then i've missed all the new loads

Don't think SNI hauls out of Campbells. We did for a short time and don't remember ever seeing any SNI trailers.

I don't know about that. I used to haul it when I was with Arnold, they had an office there

It's was there years ago I hauled two loads out of there in the span of three months. Our time there was short due to cheap and heavy. So they may have been there before then.

grace was telling me there was loads out of somewhere in MI going to TX all the time but she said 50% of them cancell. if they know this why do they post them? I guess they probably have an option up to so many a day and have to prepare for that many. but it sure can mess up the rest of our week

I ended up booking a dallas to beaumont for tomarrow because there is nothing around today. think I may do a sulfer LA to ennis tx after that, still waiting for something better before I take one of them though

Are these the rates you're getting after they get their cut? I'm looking closely at them and LS. Would prefer the LS setup and believe working with agents would be better. Have already gotten annoyed talking with SNI recruitment over the phone... going through all the prompts, getting put on hold etc... is it like that when you have a customer service issue with a load and need some quick help over the phone sorting out the problems?? Have two friends at LS, one's been there 2 years the other 4 months, getting good rates working dry van. That's in contrast to what I'm always reading about their dry van rates on these boards. I do know choice or LS either one is a step up from the rate I run for now..

I was leased to LS. wasn't my cup of tea. too many problems with crooked agents. also that was the worst year for rates ever.

what we are saying is our rate, after they take their cut. it's the to the truck rate including fsc. LS board will show the gross rate.

both systems are very similar. My biggest problem with the LS system is their agents are not required to list the loads on their board. what happens is if they give a load to a BCO they are capped at how much fee they can take. it's like 8% or something if I remember right. But they can take however much they can get if they sell it to an outside truck. So when they get a load for $4 a mi they stick it on the outside load boards because if they can find some dummy to haul it for $2/mi they get to keep $2/mi. so that leave nothing but the bottom of the barrell on the board. I know a few agents who never put freight on BCO trucks. And LS doesn't care. it's you against a million dollar agent and they will side with them every time. I like LS but they have problems in their system.

now the pumpkin definatly has some funny ideas. they will brow beat ya with safety crap. but I like this system better. however i'm not a people person. I could be perfectly happy going months without talking to people. And here I don't have to. the loads are on the board, there is no negotiations and the first person to click on it gets it. And so far they haven't been bothering me one bit. Seemed like my phone was constantly ringing with LS.

so it's a horse a piece. If you like wheeling and dealing and agruing for every penny you can get then you will like LS. I know the pumpin has e logs but I heard new trucks at LS are getting eobr's too
