ive been looking at the mn/wi/il and mi freight. and to be honest i think i do better in tx.

i believe freight rates everywhere are down from last yer. of course i cant price it as i dont spend alot of time on the load boards. all i know is i made $180k last year and withe the same co from new years till may i almost went broke. lost my car, almost my truck and #### close to loosing my house.

i talked to the other manager this morning. im sure glad there is a few people left with common sense and independant thought. all the new sni guidlines say i cant get a prom not but she was able to realize if i get shut down its their load sitting not mine. and their record gets dinged too. anyways i got the approval for the rubber. shes a very nice lady... the one i dealt with yesterday would not deal with me directly i was on the pbone with another person and she was relaying back and forth. good way to make your people feel insignificant..

in case you are wondering the new guidlines say no to anything the first 30 days. after that you have to have 50% of it in your general fund

and why is national acct pricing more then over the counter price?

Man it ain't much better this week on the independent side. Outside Toledo and everything pay well was going to PA, NY, CT, ugh.

Did get lucky on a load for tomorrow going to Madison paying over $2. Guy was grinding me but made a mistake telling me he was off tomorrow. So I held my ground and kept up with objections (man those tolls, nothing good out of Madison, extra 30-miles to bypass Chicago, etc).

Keep up the fight. It all turns around.

I thought they started the big inspections today but didn't see or hear of anything in IN, IL or OH today. If I was short on hours I would likely get the restart. When they see you are short on hours they look extra hard for those little fudges to pick-up time.

We can't fudge Bill, we run e-logs. KS and MO are working hard but I've gotten a green light on the pre-pass all day.

On a side note, I have to either go back to tanks or get a different truck. Only getting 5.2mpg on my super light loads!

Too bad I'm gonna take a huge hit if I get rid of it.

    yup, no fudging anymore.

when I had my t800 with the MBN I was pulling gulf carts. deadhead from madison WI to natchez MS, load 18,500 lbs of golf carts and driveback delivering them along the way. I could only AVERAGE 5mpg and thats over 50% empty dry van

You can't fudge AS MUCH. I talk to guys all the time that now only show 15-mins for loading, fuel, anything on line 4. And always let the truck switch to line 3 for them.

But being on EOBR's you will get less focus on logs.

Can't you do something with that ECM? Seems like something is messed up.
