This is a list of companys that scored as having the most complaints. Each score has been adjusted according to the company's annual revenue, which is a relative indicator of how many trucks they have.
The first number is the company's score. The higher the score, the more complaints (relative to annual revenue).
109 Shnieder: 109 complaint reports, 3 billion $ in annual revenue
120 Arrow: 10-8, .25, CLOSED DOWN
150 Prime: 25 , .5
150 werner: 95 , 1.7
160 crst 40, .7
162 celadon t, 27, .5
168 to 136 USA Truck, 21 , .382
200 Swift: 182, 2.6
340 Southern Refrigerated Transport, 16c, .126
400 Wil-Trans, 2c, .0016, Charlotte NC
490 cr england: 112, .75
670 covenant: 115 , .5
1200 Cypress 4, .01
1,250 Wiley Sanders Truck Lines, 5c, .002
1,900 US Express, 16c, .002B,Charlotte, Greensboro
US Express should not be confused with US xpress which scored:
70 US xpress: 30 , 1.3 and is in the high scoring companys list.
The 2nd number represents the number of non-lease, legitimate-sounding complaints.
The third number represents the annual revenue in billion dollars.
Some of these figures are dated and some might be innacurate. I based these values on what I was able to find using official government reports, various websites, and rippoffreport.com's complaints searches. I made a best effort to come up with a good representation of the figures, so don't quote me on them. I made this report once, when I was looking for work and wanted to know the best and worst companys that I wanted to work with. This report is for my personal use only.
Also, the recruiters flood these forums with all sorts of nasty replies when decent drivers make legitimate complaints to warn off other drivers about a bad company. I find this highly unethical, sad, and offensive. I hate tyranny, rippoffs, and companys that abuse people, with a passion. The scum who defend these crooks and call their victims complainers and whiners can now be put in their place. See for yourself. Find your own numbers if you disagree. The complaints and the annual revenue is publicly available for all to see.

Where did you find that report just curious it may help some drivers in making a decision ( or a ) better decision
Great post !! -
Who can guess the highest ranking large trucking company?
Big hint: It's a union job, and yes, unions are a workers best friend. This one is actually too obvious, so:
Who can guess the highest ranking non-union large trucking company? -
RipOffReport? As part of your "findings"?
I like reading through that website a great deal, but find that over the years, there is an increasingly high percentage of mere whiners, and would hardly consider much of anything posted there in my decision-making process.
Interesting list, though. Just when did you compile this?zentrucking Thanks this. -
Thanks for sharing your personal study with TTR.
Quantified Statistical Analysis is required to achieve an objective conclusion. The opinions of one in a two party agreement is subjective to mis-representation, thus nullifying the outcome of a disagreement. Why do you think hearsay is not permitted during cross examination of a witness? Unreliable. A study of complaints from disgruntled ex-employees is hardly fair and unbiased. A more reliable method to determine a ranking amongst peers should include more than an abstract expression.
My suggestion is to weigh in the top 100 US Trucking Companies new hire ratio. The higher the turn-over ratio the higher the score. It may be hard to collect that kind of information unless you are a legitimate 3rd-party un-biased Statisical Market Research firm gathering data for the Trucking Industry.
One way for Trucking Companies to reduce Turn-Over is to yeild to Hard Facts generated by Exit-Questions of Employees during the Termination Process. Trucking companies that seek to retain loyal and productive employees need feed-back in order to adapt a new attitude and maintain it's most valuable resource, The Driver.
Other than that, Keep on Trucking!truckfam, AfterShock, vmaggs and 1 other person Thank this. -

All training companies too.Not trying to defend any of those companies but gotta wounder why they are the most comment companies out there.More likely to may newbies getting into this business and finding that the trucking flied is not for them and make these guys look real bad.I know Werner,Swift,C.R England are the worse of worse out there but make me wounder this report was base on complains form newbies.
Don't get me wrong, most of those companies listed are nightmare companies, but you gotta wounder tho.fancypants and Brokenwings Thank this. -
While I am sure there are valid and suspect complaints on Ripoff Report... the website itself and business model is suspect.
Rip Off report is not a valid source and is possibly artificially skewed.
Although I would have to do a little more research, it is widley known that the CEO of that website and other "consumer advocate" websites has in past been charged with Racketeering and other charges including extortion.
Seems his scam is to extort money from the companies that are complained about... he in turn will remove the offending posts for a fee. -
They're a worker's best friend, until the company is on the verge of going bankrupt from worker payroll and is forced to move the operation to mexico or china where workers aren't demanding $50 an hour to do $10 an hour work.... One of many reasons unemployment is currently at 10% in america. If you don't believe me, next time you get a new truck, have a look at where it was madediesel_weasel Thanks this. -
