I'm not even sure the terminal one is based out of has anything to do with anything. DM's either for that matter, because it seems to me as the driver gets out of the zone of their terminal and into another terminal's jurisdiction that other terminal takes over that driver's availability and uses him. If I ever call my DM to resolve a problem or ask a question, she'll say, 'oh I see you're in Mt Pocono PA' as if she's finding that out for the first time.
5 days is the minimum lead time for your hometime request. You can verify that by sending a macro 8 with just 2 or 3 days lead time and it will kick back to you. Of course the more lead time you give them to get you back home the better the chance for arriving on time.AZS Thanks this. -
Scottie, I agree, but it seems like those that are based out the Eastern Terminals, seems like they will get alot of loads that are pretty much East, SE, MW and little SW, where those that are based out of the Western Terminals, well they seem to run more of the 48. The majority of what I see, I-64 and I-70 unless I get stuck like this week, out of Denver. It is kinda like that one zone, no west of Denver. From what I understand, the DM is supposed to take care of the driver, and communicate with the planner for the area that you are getting mt out of.

I want to thank all that helped. Well I guess my plan of attack, get home next Sunday, then on Monday call Rapid Response. This is one of the reasons that they are around, to help out so that a L/O can make it out here. Then see what they have to say. When they see an avg of 2200 miles per week for 4 weeks, well. Since I have home time comming up, and I will be in Northern MN Monday, I am going to be pessimistic and say that this will be pretty much a shot week. Lots of short runs to stay close to home.
