simple solution to the fuel economy always add a couple gallons of reefer fuel in your tank when you fuel and if you know your gonna be droping that trailer add about 5 or 6 gallons to the truck they dont track the reefer fuel like the truck fuel. this way your fuel economy looks good.:biggrin_25514:

Shoot - we just passed in the day time - LOL - the 29th is the date we signed our leash (lease) - and had a load out the same day (we kept our company DM (that was a deal breaker for us)) and now on our way to MO on our 'shake down cruise'... and things are going well!!

That is stealling... sure, you can probably get away with it - but if I did it, I would know that I was stealing from the comany. Myself - I couldn't do that... If its OK in your book... well not much I will say about that...

Hey ya'll I got my CDL today. Took the skills test this morning and passed it with 0 points. After lunch they asked me if I would take my road test early as they are short on instructors. I didn't have to but I felt I was ready and said sure. Did the road test and only missed 2 so now have my CDL. The 4th of july weekend is messing me up so will still have to wait until the 6 and 7 to do orientation but hey I can celebrate now.

One more note be forewarned, I have found the info on this thread and the forum to be very helpful. So I will be packing and getting money in order over the extra long weekend to be ready to out with a trainer. So I will probably be buging the crap out of all of you so I can just show up with my trainer hit the road and learn.

The 15 years is from Alaska driving roll-off for waste management. I have nothing OTR and have been off for 2 years putting parents affairs in order. Handling the trucks and rigs is not a problem just questions about OTR and dealing with trainers and having money on the road are my problems now. Driving is easy the paper work and BS is harder.

Things are going well for us... and we have definately been busy!! Which is a good thing. In fact, the last couple days we have been moving into our new home... a White Freightliner - LOL!

We sold our soul to the company store... <sung in an off tune voice> So I guess we will be sticking w/Central for at least another 35 months... at least that is the plan for now :biggrin_25523:
