What are your pet peevs at the fuel island ? I hate it when drivers pull up to a pump and run inside to get snacks and drinks and they get back in the truck and munch while there are others behind him that actully need to fill up.

My pet peeve is when you pull up to the pumps, fuel the truck up, go inside to use the bathroom and get something to drink or snack on, go back out to the truck and get the log up to date and the truck ahead of you STILL hasn't moved.

broken air chucks or lack of air chucks at the islands.
card reader screens that are so dim you can't read them.
islands closed at peak times so employees can wash them down.
Broken, missing or worn window washing sqeegees.
    No window washing fluid
    garbage cans over flowing

    just to name a few

I had this happen at the Pilot in Port Wentworth, GA. For those of you who don't know the place, the pumps are spaced a bit tighter than normal.

Anyway, I just filled my tanks, went into the building, did a Transflo, took a leak, etc, etc. I come back out to get going, and I see some donkey (I can't say the real word) trying to siphon fuel out of my right-side tank!!

Judging from the way he ran with me in hot pursuit, he didn't (and couldn't) get that much.

I just hate it when drivers park there that shouldn't be there. The fuel island is for fueling and fuel purchasing ONLY. If you need to do anything else, park the effin truck in the lot. I almost called state patrol on a idiot that was eating at Denny's while his truck was idling at the fuel island.

A pair a diagonal cutters works wonders on air lines and the electrical line... if they're going to leave it in your way, make sure it won't move for THEM, either... until they buy $100-150 worth of lines and install them.

Not that I truly condone this behavior or would ever participate in such tomfoolery.

I have a problem with drivers that get highly upset because they are done fueling and I still haven't moved my truck from the pull up lane. Meanwhile, there is a huge line at the flying j and all I did other than stand at that line is the usual pee and coffee. Newsflash, your truck can reverse. If you are done and the truck in front is still there, then leave your truck at the pump and go do your thing inside. When you come out and the truck is still there, back up and keep it moving.

I hate the drivers that use the fuel island as a truck wash, nothing like tracking water and spilled diesel into your truck...

or the jerk that uses the window squeegee for a truck wash..

    *steering wheel holders please note*

this is not for wiping spilled fuel off your tanks or wiping down your truck..
