Maybe for driving a truck, but I don't like charcoal pizza. That's just a joke, jtx.
But this isn't: You are not placed on probation for simply being charged with something. It was adjudicated. That means it went to court and was heard by a judge rather than a jury and your lawyer made a sweet deal for you because the prosecutor didn't want to fool with you. It is a conviction. You did time for it and now you are finishing up your felony probation. Don't try to candy-coat it to make it more palatable. It won't work. Stop lying on your applications and call it the way it is. Regardless of what you see on public record, it is listed in the "private reserve" file as a conviction. Which makes sense since you are paying a fine, did time and now have a PO. You would have none of this without a conviction.
You may find some outfit that will hire you. But here is my advice: Nail down that job before you waste your money on a CDL school. If you get your CDL and then can't find a job, it is nothing more than an expensive driving license to you. After 90-180 days of inactivity, it will be as much as useless. You will have to take another course (refresher) anyway.BigJohn54 Thanks this. -
And I figured you knew what many of us know....
I don't expect a fire, or NEED an fire extinguisher, but I own several and keep in ALL my vehicles.
I don't expect to have a MVC, but I have full coverage insurance on my vehicles.
I don't expect to fall off my motor, but I wear a helmet when I ride.
I don't expect to get sick/ill/injured, but I have medical insurance.
And even though I don't expect to be attacked/robbed, I carry a firearm.... on my person.... everywhere.
Like American Express... I don't leave home without it.
Because I was a 911 dispatcher and KNOW the sad truth of "police protection", and even a cursory review of these forums will show you how many thieves, drunks, druggies, and generally stupid people are infesting this little blue ball we live upon.Freebird135 and I_HATE_MINIVANS Thank this. -
