Smaggs just watched your dust storm video:

Just a tip, going 50mph in a 75mph zone is asking for someone to run up your az.$ the safe thing to do is to maintain the speed limit.

If you have to slow down due to reduced visibility, just use your flashers. Never try to maintain speed when visibility is short. You could just as easily run over some car in front of you who is slowing down too.

Using your flashers is the first thing your not spoused to do, it'll make a 4 wheeler flying up on you think your stopped so they swerve and wreck

If you can't do the speed limit get off the road

I'm not sure where you got your CDL training, but have you never climbed a mountain heavy? Driven in snow? Below 45mph (depending on what state or training you went through) use the flashers. Flashers on while creeping through heavy snow, flashers on creeping through an accident scene, flashers climbing a mountain in the truck lane, etc....

If you do 75 in a dust storm with very little sight distance, you are ASKING to run up someones' behind. Slow down depending on the conditions. Speed LIMIT means just that.... LIMIT. (Ask me how I know this?)

    mgt1085 and Voyager1968 Thank this.
