no it is in bar scania use hpi from end of 2000. in 124 470 latter 124 440 and 124 420 hpi after that in p/g/rt 420 euro 3/4/5 and eev in r/t 470 in g/r 440(for brazilian market) in r/t 470 euro 4 in r480 euro 4

so that pressure is not something unusual anymore....

    xpi is at 2700bar

here is how they build xpi

pablo did your friend notice some problems with bad fuel and xpi, scania recommends to its customers if they need to travel in russia that is best to fill up fuel here

scania engineer told me that they had some problems with bad fuel on first xpi truck here ( that was scania demo truck)

so latter scania give their customers paper with text that in case that you use bad quality fuel you lost guarantee and you must sign it

that high pressure is definetly one of reasons why they manage to build euro5 engine with great fuel economy only best scr engines can stand side by side by fuel consumption to this one

also only scania manage to build euro5 and eev egr engine

man tried but offers only in bus now fuel economy was not good and heat problems

that scania in picture above have 480hp and 1850lb-ft of torque which is highest ratio on market usually 480hp engines have something like 1700

that one above have cruising speed below 1000rpm

I didn't think the pressure was that much! Wow, at least when ph comes back in a years time telling how fuel efficient the new cummins are I can tell him scania designed them to be that good hahaha, that'll give me so much pleasure! Ahh yeah

XPI is too sufisticated system and seems to me there will be some bad fuel issues when it is cold, like we had with Renault DCI and MAN D20/D28 (Maxxforce).
