    Just want to know how many hours a week they usaully get? Do you do dock work? How is it working for them?

    Around Atlanta,Ga they get about 60 to 65 hours a week . And overtime over 45.

    No,they required 1 or 2 years experience.

    Foodservice in some areas do though. As for LTL youll have to hire on as a dock worker then when a driving position opens you can most likely take it unless your union.

    More likely but in Florida,there no union...:biggrin_25516:

    I work as dock worker for 6 months in Tampa and I had my CDL-A but they wouldn't give me a chance,I was told they don't hire drivers without experience.

    How are you suppost to get one to two years experience if everywhere requires one to two years experience to be hired? Ridiculous!
