    No I start on the 29th and I'm getting nervous as well. I have everything riding on my success failure is not an option. So I'll be the guy studying extra long (already doing that) and trying to get as much time in the trucks as possible.

    I'm going to Dallas as well.

    The part I'm MOST nervous about is the being OTR for a month with a complete stranger. I wonder if we can make requests (though I don't want to make waves) it would be nice to be able to ask for a smoker/non-smoker.

    Good luck to everyone heading to training, if you're going to Dallas, I look forward to seeing you! Any veterans here that have any advice, don't be shy!

    Also, does anyone know a place to get a MC Road Atlas? I was thinking to try Walmart.

    I just got mine 2 days ago from my closest pilot/flying j it was 32.09 after tax, and that was basically half price compared to bookstores and rand mcnally online.

    Well see, it's confusing. I've heard this before, yet I get there Sunday at 11am and a lot of the paperwork says it starts on Monday. Should I dress down for the ride (sweats and flip flops) or should I show up in work attire ready to roll? The recruiter made it seem like I'd get there on Sunday and get set up in the hotel and begin Monday.

    Sunday OR1 is for people that have already gone to school somewhere else and have a CDL already.

    They will let you choose a smoking or non smoking trainer.

    Dont buy a MC Atlas yet .. they will give you one the last day of school ... usually.
