Oh yes they would! I was picking up a loaner one time and I saw a pink or purple truck with flowers on it and I thought it was my loaner. Thankfully, it was one number off, I still ended up with a purple truck, but with regular striping. I called it Barney.

    Thanks for the pic. Ironpony
I have decided to go with Prime...If I can get through all the training and everything else the type of truck that I would have is not as important as one that can get me from a-b without breaking down 3 times.
If the best running truck is pink and purple....than bring it on.
You all answered my main question of being able to stand up.
I have been researching many companies and the horror stories about being trained in the latest and greatest...only to go solo with a truck that is one year past retirement for even local work.
Prime seems like it is a company that is very concerened abt. the condition of the trucks esp. the fuel mileage.
I have been following all the Prime thread and it seems like in day in and day out all of you are happy with Prime.
Thank you guys and be careful on the east coast...it looks ugly out there for now.

Many folks don't like to drive up there because of the aggressive nature of the 4-wheelers, traffic, short runs. Company guys like the longer runs to maximize their income, and a lot of lease drivers look too much at rates rather than where their gross income will be after a trip.

We deliver to distribution centers primarily, although I have taken loads into a number of smaller outfits - Jersey and Connecticut. The DCs are primarily in the outlying areas. A couple of years ago I ran across some NYC local guys driving for Prime who only did deliverys into da City.

Its the one I have a couple of shots of. Seeing Prostars now too, as well as Cascadias. I think the bias toward Freightliners is being worn down by the lack of manufacturing capacity in the heavy truck arena this year.

Does any one know if the VA will do this ??
