Is it best to get a local CPA familiar with the trucking industry or are there REPUTABLE companies out there that operate online?

I would say having a tax preparer familiar with the trucking industry is the best. Just because they are a major firm such as the well known block, does not make them aware of tax laws pertaining to trucks.
Also, the CPA also does not make the grade as well.
Trucking is very unusual as well as the tax laws.
Any more info I cannot say because of forum rules on it. -
I like that when I call my CPA she knows my voice and first name. Also she is close enough that I can do a sit down if I have to.

I would agree with Brickman, choose local, but be sure to get someone who knows trucking.
