looks like my driving career is over before it started. I completley botched my lane change tests. Looks like I am not cut out for this at this time.
You have alot to learn fast unfortunately my learning curve is not fast enough. haveing never used my mirrors in backing or pulling any kind of trailer has been a disadvantage.
a truck shifts nothing like a car and there is alot of shifting.
good luck and safe driveing to you all. there is whole lot to this and everyone is not cut out for it. wish me luck
may be going to crowder august 22

Dam dude. I know you're frustrated. I know it's a lot to learn but unless you've been run off officially don't give up. You've waited on this for so long. I know you can do it bro. Maybe you just need to back up and regroup. It's your decision and I wish you the best.
blktop-bucanear Thanks this. -
unfortunately i have 4 failing tests there is no way to catch up. i can start over but the odds are against me. I gave it my best maybe another time after getting more skills -
I'm sorry to hear that man. I know you were psyched about it. So what's next? Are you gonna try somewhere else or take a break from it all together?
-
my plan is to move on I may work on ways to improve some skills and give it a another shot in the future. but for now I need to move on
insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. feels good to be sane lol(well that could be debatable )

Good luck to you bro. You tried your best and that's all you can do.

Blktop... say it ain't so! I can tell from your posts over the past few months you've really put your "heart and soul" into this
Have you left Crowder yet? Can you get your old job back? Is there anything I can do?
Also keep in mind there's Prime in Springfield, MO... about 70 miles due east of Joplin. They're rated pretty high in terms of satisfaction. Their "school" consists of a 4 day initial orientation in Springfield to get your CDL permit (which I'm sure you already have) and work the simulators... then several weeks out with a trainer truly learning "on the job" before you come back and test for your CDL. They own a motel in Springfield (fairly nice) and start orientation every Tuesday morning. Maybe worth a call if you're still here?Last edited: Sep 3, 2011
