if your going to buy a truck, why not make money and lease onto LandStar or Mercer? or a small company...
The whole point of being a O/O is to do what you want when and how you want AND make more money.
Didnt you say you worked for TMC a while back?

It wasn't me. The driver was a guy named Brian, I think. Don't know what happened. I got the message too

i don't want to go back to flatbed just yet, not unless i some how managed to get a large sum of money to get my own trailer and fix it up the way i wanted.. so either i'm going to stick with dry van or switch to tanker.. landstar doesn't do much dry van, at least they dont have much coming out of Florida, and i dont know much about Mercer.. and i never worked for TMC, had my own truck with my own authority and ran a flatbed for six months until my insurance company closed their door.
somehow you manged to hijack the 'ell out of this thread ATAmerican-Trucker Thanks this. -

my girl is leaving me... I'm not home enough for her liking. I guess I'll save up and move back to Erie, PA or to my mom's in Buffalo, NY.

Hey, I'm still reading through your post here... Seems Knight has been pretty good to you so far. I have seen a few Knight trucks and had thought about going with Knight Transportation. (Dry Van Truckload).

Then she wasn't worth it. That sounds harsh I know. My my GF waited patiently for me to get OTR experince. It was tough. But now I have job, home every other day, sometimes everyday. Make great $$$$. And she's my wife now. But we both knew it wouldn't be easy at first.
Sorry partner. -
Yeah. Well now she rethought it, since we both knew I'd be OTR this year. I hope it works out.
On another note, I buffed my wheels. I had downtime, due to a shipper being closed for the holiday weekend. Yay.
