It is more than 53 it is 106' walk GOAL Get Out And Look best way to stay fit and be Safe oh and would not hurt to check to see if the set of chains are still their too. Might as well do another walk with lights on if you forgot to the first time.

Hey guys, I noticed on the W/S web site that Indy is not one of the terminals mentioned they are hire out of.
Can I get a phone number and a contact name that I could call to find out about this?
I'm still several months away from the pre-hire stage, but don't want to get my hopes up on a W/S career if it is not possible.
If I do get my foot in the door and start driving for W/S, I wouldn't mind relocating to Montana...or even NC. -
So the real question is how is it to drive with a load?
I know that the truck reacts a little slower when starting and takes more down shifting and braking to slow down.
but what about backing and turns right and left ?
any help whould be great I am training on a truck with a 48' trailer and no load -
I just got an answer from Sandy in their recruiting office. She wrote, "We hire drivers who live within 100 to no more than 125 miles of a drop yard or terminal."
I did not know that -
just finish talking to sandy they do hire Texas drivers as long you have a save secure place to park truck.Texzonie, American-Trucker and the flying scotsman Thank this. -
The weight pushes you down hill allot, and slows you WAY down going up hill.
when you press on the breaks it'll feel like next to nothing is happening
depending on how your loaded and with what you'll feel the truck lean while going threw a corner
while backing when heavy sometimes the truck will bounce up and down because the drive line is getting all twisted to sheet with the weight and torque and you trying to turn
American Trucker -
call our recruiters they can tell you. im pretty sure they hire out of all terminals. and the number is on the website
