Made it home. Two weeks seems like forever!
I only have this to report.....I am sick and tired of having to pick up a trailer that the driver before me was too LAZY and INCONSIDERATE to take the 30 seconds to send in a macro to have it fixed.
My only hope is that they start getting caught and accumulate enough points that they will either start doing the right thing, or get out of driving!
Other than that, it was a good two weeks!

Mama Kay checked on me getting a new truck and it will be the end of the year or the spring. Every terminal I go to, except for the IC drivers, I have been the only 07 in there. I do not mind as I have a bunk heater and paper logs!:biggrin_25523:

How do they decide who gets what trucks or is it just a luck of the draw situation?

They are going by the number of the truck which is representative of how old it is. They just got finished with the majority of them and I guess they are going to wait to finish off the fleet.

Yes and no. Yes the number is representative to how long its been in the fleet,no its not the criteria by which they decide. They decide based on year but also which trucks have the most miles (just because its older doesnt mean its got the most miles) they also go by whether the truck is a problem truck ir not and lastly they go by convience ( do you have a truck they would like to tradr, are you going by the yard, and do they have an available truck) . So just having the oldest truck doesnt mean you'll get new truck first. Be patient. If you have an 2007 you wobt have it much longer simply due to the fact not many are left.
Also as to the still being on paperlogs,Im from Missouri you'll have to show me that because I havent seen ANYONE on paper since June which was their target for full e-log conversion. Just like I had a newb tell me a month or two sgo his Cascadia ran 70mph regardless if fuel mileage. A newb might believe that but those of us that been here awhile no better and you just make yourself look bad trying to pass off that kind of bs.
