A final decision has not been made. There are one or two minor things, but Stevens has been my first choice, especially the Alliance Lease option. But there are others...and the BP issue has become important to me. I'm in and have been in a very high-stress job for years and all this crap you read about "the government shutdown" has not helped. I was on the beach for two weeks in August and did not like it.

So I walk and eat right and do what I can not to "own" every little darned thing that crosses my desk, which is hard because that's the way I am. Grrrrr......

Do we need everything on list to pack for first day? or we could get while in training?

Not sure what you are thinking of not needing, but there are some things you could get later. Be more specific and maybe we can help answer the question.

Denali... BP issues are the same no matter where you go. The DOT sets the limits, the companies have to enforce them.
I suspect you're BP will drop once you get out of your present postion. While I don't know what you do exactly, it sounds like the same thing my younger brother was doing with DOD before retiring last September.
His BP had gotten high enough to lose his flight status, but after retiring it dropped significantly.
I know after I 'retired' and sold out, my BP dropped more than 20 points.
When I came to Stevens, I was sweating blood over making the grade on that issue. My BP with meds was running around 135-140/90-100.
Here I sit, close to four years later and it constantly tests out at 112/72.
Stress can do that to you!
So don't worry about that. Watch your diet, get your rest and when you retire...reguardless of what you do afterward, I'll bet your BP drops.

    DenaliDad and Nycmex77 Thank this.

The amazing thing is that 112/72 was my BP for years, as consistent as the sunrise. Then work happened! But I want this new thing bad enough to make the changes needed. I have 3 months...
