    OK, I can't let this pass without making an observation here. If that was done today, both the teacher and your dad could go to jail for child abuse/battery. It is really no wonder that our society is going downhill fast. I've also felt that paddle, (probably not the same one. . .but you know what I mean,) and lived to tell about it. Didn't even get screwed up mentally over it. Probably actually helped me a little bit.

    Exactly Don...I agree totally with ya. Hell if it did do me wrong I wouldnt be typing this cause I'd be dead or behind bars. Thats why I say that the kids now n days are SOFT!!!!! S-O-F-T!!!!!
