Ok thanks BIGJOHN , it takes hours to check the info out on Tx. I worked on the strongest horizontal drill rig through the 90,s. Driving off road also 290,000 plus lbs. tankers, flatbed, hauled equipment. In that arena Michels pipe line was the best co. to work for. I wish it was easier, for these driving jobs. I would think there,s at least 3 good co.s and a few to stay away from. I just don,t want to end up,down there with a bad outfit. I,m doing the Chicago railyards now, the same thing 2 decent co.s , the rest are terrible.

Good news...I got a call today to come in Monday for my driving test and physical. 99% sure that I will be starting within 7-10 days. When I talked with the terminal mgr I mentioned that there were a few of y'all that would be interested in this opportunity and he said to send you guys his way. If any of y'all are still interested send me a PM with some basic info on you so that I can get my referral bonus (first name and where you live I guess??) and I will reply back with my info, company phone number, and who to ask for and such....

So what? You get paid by the hour. You want a large car go buy your own. Just for poking around the cow pasture and limited hwy use a cheap day cab makes more money.

I've driven those gutless POS Macks for most of the last ten years, and yeah they are completely lacking in balls. They are however a pretty #### solid truck for off road operation, they can take a really sound beating.

    PS
I'm also making the big move, bought a little trailer and packed all my gear this weekend, I leave for TX on Friday. I have 14 interviews lined up between TX and LA, mostly oil. I have a favorite in mind but I'm going to see what each one is about before I pick one. #### excited to start a new chapter!
