I am getting ready to attend Roadmaster in Jacksonville Fl. And was wondering if anyone attended their school that knows whether they are good about getting jobs as they say they do.

How much is roadmaster charging for the trucking class?

I paid $4995 for National training basic trucking program.

I've been told that at Roadmaster you'll be standing around a lot waiting on a truck, depending how big the class is.

    Dang...

I ain't trying to bash on them but if I were you I'd save $2k+ to go with National. I ain't a recruiter by any means, I just graduated with them two days ago. You do all your book-work at home on the internet. National also has an O/O program for $6999. It basically teaches you how to file your fuel taxes, find a good used truck, what to look for when looking into buying your own truck, stuff like that.

Then when you go to training your in a truck the first day for about 8 hours either learning to back or learning to shift. They have plenty of trucks so that your not standing around for more than about 10 minutes before your back in a truck doing more of either backing or shifting.

I can't speak for Roadmaster, but as far as my experience with National, I'd recommend them over anyone else. I do like that they have life-time job placement. Idk if Roadmaster does or not, I just know National has a better program in my opinion is all.

Here's the link to my experience..

Anyway, I wish the best of luck to you man!
