    Two seconds is what I was taught. Something I don't see enough drivers doing is using their flashers when coming up on slow or stopped traffic.

    That pet bed can be purchased at Sam's Club, COSTCO, and Pet Smart....and probably many others. They come in different sizes and colors too.

    According to another article I read:

    I haven't found any word on any charges filed against the driver yet.

    And for anyone curious, that crumpled ball of metal the deceased were driving in, was actually a Jeep Grand Cherokee. From the picture, I thought it was a smaller SUV, like a Kia or something.

    Who said anything about the 14 hr rule being the culprit? And you can break it up with a 8-2 split.

    Case in point about inattention:

    I was in the construction zone on I70 east of Indy the other day. I look right to check my mirror for clearance on the k-rails. I look back a half second later and Werner is all over his brakes. I was following at a safe distance, he wasn't. No real risk of contact between me and werner, but I had to stop fast enough that my load shifted...And all of that was only at 35mph.
