You will never know. It's not like they advertise. If they knew I'm sure Prime would ouwst them at least from training and maybe the co.

As far as Hazmat goes, you should be able to get the written test out of the way when you take all the others for your permit in your home state. Then you'd get the TSA background check done asap after you get your CDL. When that comes in, you then transfer your MO CDL back to your home state and the Hazmat endorsement is ready to be added on.

    reptij Thanks this.

I wanted to know if any prime drivers, hopefully a prime tanker driver can respond. Can you be in the tanker division if you live in the midwest or west coast, cause the reason i ask is i was told that the tanker division is primarily ne runs, so if a driver live in those areas will he be able to get in tanker? And if so how often do you get home? I was curios to know because a poster was asking questions about it and i think poster live in mo. or ca.

The real answer lies with the California DMV. They are your only source of California-specific information. From what I've read elsewhere, with an out-of-state CDL, you will have to retake the CDL written tests. Call and ask the DMV.

The hazmat endorsement will not transfer and the change-over process is state-specific. It does not work like emton described in Michigan, for example, so check with your own state.

If there are tanker drivers that regularly visit the forum, I don't know any.

When your in SPRINGMO you can go visit tanker dispatch lol Its in the back corner of flatbed dispatch lol Theres three dispatchers... and 2 desks lol
