    You are right !!

I did some research, and it was a truckers tale.

He did NOT pass away, and is still alive !!!!

I heard he was given an award, instead of detention pay, which most drivers would

    prefer...

    Happy Ending !!!

Sad, but we have all read here where "trainers" have done things like that.

I knew it wasn't true the second you said a truck sitting 4 days in Jersey. it would be on blocks and all the tires would be gone. :)

I guess it's been a couple of years ago now, but a guy I worked with at DATS died making a delivery. He was actually in the lot of the hospital where he was making the delivery.

They said he was dead by the time he hit the ground. I think it was an aneurysm, but I'm not really sure anymore.

As bad as it sounds the chances of a driver passing away while on the road are high just given the amount of time spent in the truck verses at home. If it was Stevens they probably threw the body in the trailer, flew in a new driver and had him finish the deliveries.:biggrin_25524:

Would they at least turn the unit on to preserve the body?

Well if he's in the trailer, it would be on line 1. Otherwise, line 4?
