Not to press the point, but there seem to be a lot of folks getting ticketed for running on a flat. It doesn't matter which one you look in - part 393 is quite specific.

Search for tires in part II - Vehicle. Less than 50% of rated inflation (which I believe includes "flats") puts you out of service.

Just one more thing then I get off the subject. I did leave out that this was just to get the repair done at a safer place. NOT to be driven on for an extended time.

Ya get pulled over by a DOT bear... its a judgement call on his part. In these times of lousy gubbermint revenue, I'd rather be safe than pay his salary for the month! If it's Illiniois, your getting a ticket, LOL!

Been following your journey OpenRoadDreamer, and it`s very encouraging. I`m looking at prime as an option for me, but haven`t made my final choice yet...
Glad it works out well for you!

Its a good company. Ive enjoyed my time here so far. Met a lot of people whove become like family. Im getting good miles and treated good. Most of the drivers Ive met will actually try to help new guys out instead of getting on their high horse and talking down to them.

Well... Ive put over 12,000 miles on my truck so far in the little over a month Ive had it. Almost had to wipe a tear away when I saw the odometer turn over to 400,000 miles lol Had to take a break from some attitude on here, so I took a few days off. Im back now.a

Only getting 10:56 back at midnight so... Im less than 300 miles away from my 02, then its like 10 miles to the 90.
