that's on par with the company I'm working at. Keep in mind we've made a 20% improvement on vehicle maintenance and an 11% improvement on fatigued driving since this time last year. It's really too bad you can't speak with someone in safety to see what their plans are for continuing to improve safety. Don't get me wrong, if you were an applicant and wanted to know my plan to improve safety I wouldn't speak with you, it's just too bad you can't. If you could that would give you a much better idea of the "goodness" or "badness" of the company.

Yes, looks like they push their drivers and equipment hard....which is trucking but you have to put money back in the business and you have to pay your people.

They typical trucking model hangs the carrot in front of the squirl on the treadmill and I believe this will bite most carriers in the butt eventualy. Look at a model of Walmart vs a simular sized common carrier or a union carrier vs. non-union and you will see the carrot factor.

Melton? It's illegal to speak with a candidate about your future plans? Can you expand on this and possibly cite any regs, laws?

The symbol is not intended to imply any federal safety rating of the carrier pursuant to 49 USC 31144. Readers should not draw conclusions about a carrier's overall safety condition simply based on the data displayed in this system. Unless a motor carrier in the SMS has received an UNSATISFACTORY safety rating pursuant to 49 CFR Part 385, or has otherwise been ordered to discontinue operations by the FMCSA, it is authorized to operate on the nation's roadways.
