Finally got in after 2.5 hrs. Got a load of shinny bar...problem was my canvas garland and most of my straps were soaked. So I did not double tarp it and I did need.to.use some wet straps.
Hopefully it.will not be noticable.
Made it down.to.the rest area on.77south past the Cambridge exit.
Listening.to.music.on.the phone while I type this..pretty cool! -
Delivered early and when I took the tarps off I was shocked. The bars were all.wet from condensation. I pointed it out to them and they said it was common...whew.
Got a load of lumber to pick up 3 hrs east of here headed for up near Pittsburgh...have to drive by dc...yuck. -
trouble4u-What bad things? Who are you talking to? The only bad things I can find are from people that didn't make the cut. You don't seem to excited about going to Maverick. Not normal from posts I've seen. I've been hearing pride in messages but not with you. Are you sure Maverick is for you?

Yeah, the condensation thing can kinda freak you out. I delivered a coil that I picked up in Michigan and took it to Florida in the spring. It was somewhere around 20 degrees up there and 60 in Florida. When I pulled the tarp the coil was soaked and dripping water onto the deck. I was thinking that there was no way they were going to take it like that but they unloaded it and said "no problem".
JimTheHut Thanks this. -
It took me over 3 hrs to get around dc and then to the rest area in hagerston. Got a 14 he violation. Thought I would be ok but the rest area near fredericktown was a scenic one..no trucks and closed at dusk.
The tarp machine I had to use was the worst ever...lol
Got a.preplan that loads before I deliver this load..so that should be interesting...plus the rain is turning to snow.
