Ok, so FM sent me a load out of Haverhill going back to MD. It had zero room for error or delay... too close for comfort, but we decided to go for it.

Got to the interstate and he sends me a message to wait and dont go anywhere. I pull over. Clock hadnt kicked in yet. He said he had second thoughts, and when sales looked at it closer they didnt like it either.

I ended up heading over to Schenectady for a Railex load of Onions headed to Goshen NY. 60 less miles than the previous load. Which equals a little more breathing room.

Split breaked and got my load. Pilot cashier said I was one of the lucky Prime drivers as there were more overweight Prime scale tickets out of Railex than legal coming across his register on that particular shift.

Im at the TA in Maybrook NY. Got a PM. Only have 15 min left on my 70 till tonight and then I get some great hours back over the weekend.

I want to keep up this pace, Ive got almost 2k miles already for this upcoming check.

Since I got this truck the pace has been amazing. the first week started off with a great load out to SLC, but I got stuck there for almost 2 days with an APU repair and the eventual load out of town

4332 (yeah, scan snafu got a load carried onto this particular week)
1989 current week (im getting back 41 hours from now until cutoff for this check)

Still sitting in Groveport, Oh. Fed Ex really screwed this load up. They are still working on an Ozark Trailer that has been in the dock since noon. When they finish with that one(only half done at 2100 hrs eastern) they will put whats left in our trailer. At this point they are not sure if there will be any left. Are Detention time started at 2100 hrs eastern. Fed Ex said they will cancel load if not started by 2300 hrs. One hr away and counting.
Hopefully Kraft in Columbus has something going into New England tomorrow that we can grab. I'm ready for the Holiday.

In a dirt lot next to our 90 in Ontario California. Appt was originally 0900 Monday, but we unload in the morning. I do not like empty lots next to industrial areas by myself. Rather be at a TA.....

I've never personally seen a murdered truck driver dumped in empty lot.

I can't say the same about a TA! (Paulsboro, NJ)

It the Pilot in shelbyville. Aparently the qc notes lied, no overnight parking, I was kicked off atlas' property for being more then 3 hours early.

Real kicker is where do I go after I'm unloaded. Appt. is 6pm so figure 10pm I'll be threw and Pilot will be packed.

you worry too much. Trucks go in and out all the time of truckstops. I was there three times a few months back. Never had a problem, even in the middle of the night. I parked at the fuel island, did some paperwork and watched for trucks to leave and nabbed a spot.

Plus, I dont know how they turned around, but there were 3 trucks parked along the fence on the street just past the cold storage gate. looked like there was room for more.

they were all pointing perpindicular towards the street where the gate is located, so they either turned around or there was a way around the block.
