Anyone have any experience with the course at this school? The course is 240 hours long, and according to the sylubus you practice driving in daytime and nightime conditions.
Their sister school in Crowley, La is PTDI certified, but that is about a 2-1/2 hour commute for me each way.
    TIA for any responses.

Thanks for the reply Dexterr. I'm going to call the school this week and try to find out more info.
How are they with assisting on job placement?
I figure if it seems like an OK school, I can make the commute in 60-75 minutes. (I live in Metairie)

Have you looked at Coastal College? I just started there this past week. They have free housing and a few of the guys have been staying in the dorm 1 or 2 nights and driving home to where ever the others. It's only 160 hours (4 days a week for 4 weeks) and we've already seen 2 recruiters and are expecting several more. If you're paying for it yourself it's just under $5k. I'm not advertising for them or anything and the only reason I choose this school is because I can drive there in just over :05, but I think it has been & will be a fine choice.
