Fed Ex doubles, hitches a ride !!!!

I say charge the car hauler. He was clearly pulling triples on a road that does not allow it.

 

I pulled doubles for Bowman out of Atlanta hauling LTL when they were in business (not DM Bowman) and our trucks did well over 75. Have run 90 across NM and been passed by Fl flower trucks running around 110 0r maybe more. We ran team DAL-LA and occasionally to ATL. We had a cream colored Freightliner with a KW sleeper and we ran hard. We would peel caps all summer until he decided to buy new trailers and keep them washed because CA picked on him for filthy equipment.

 

sure makes for a good laugh. to feel some thing ride up the ramp then feeling the extra weight sure makes for a story to tell the office.

 

Could have been worse - at least he was'nt following a waste management truck !

 

After every storm that hits I-80 in Wyoming, you can count on at least two sets of fedex doubles littering the ground.

 

I know the fedex terminal in Champaign,Il has a lot of Albanians working for the contractors there.I'm not sure on there driving experience but they don't know how to speak english to good.

 

Thankfully nobody was hurt, so it's funny. I would loved to have seen a pic of that!

 

I know a Few Fedex Drivers that think they are gods gift to truckdriving. Seems like they all forgot they were once American Frieghtway drivers. Its amazing what a name change/new paint scheme does to some folks Ego.
