According to the Rand McNally 2012 truckers' map, it's an inspection station, but not a weigh station.

Thanksgiving weekend I bobtailed an oilfied winch tractor from Canada to Denver.

I needed to use a washroom and the nearest thing to come up was the POE at the Montana/Wyoming border.

I followed an empty reefer to the scale. The sign said "COME INSIDE".

I parked and went inside and noticed 4 DOT types all with truckers in front of them so I quickly went to the washroom and left.

The sign never said that I had to talk, just come inside and I did.:biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

I've been thru it a couple times the past 2weeks and the first time I probley would have missed it myself if my partner hadnt been there.craziest weight station setup I've ever seen and easy to miss.par for the course in Maryland because those people(dot and state police)are not normal individuals.

Its not that bad. ive been there plenty of times. I dont know what your beef is with Md dot or state police. They have always treated me good. Gots a level 3 other day there. no violations.Maybe you were driver that had bad license when i was there. you say your from virginia. they have some real hard arses there.

I have bypassed that scale more times than I can remember. I don't think I have ever gone in it actually.
