    As a former Knight driver...

So my short run with the company has come to a screeching hault. I was just relieved from duty for my first and only moving violation in 10 yrs. Company policy states that drivers must not have 3 violations within a 3 year period, but they canned me anyways. Granted, yes I made a mistake, I think the outcome was a bit harsh.

No collision, no damage to vehicle, just a couple points on my license. :biggrin_25510:

Yep it is all about not getting CSA points now days.

Your one violation must of been one of the team rules that breaking results in termination for first offense. Drivers told me they had to sign some form acknowledging their understanding of the team rules and what would result if broke.

Hopefully this will lead to a better opportunity in the near future.

My dm and safety guy were all about trying to spare my job. Ultimately the decision was up to corporate safety in phoenix and they would not make an exception for me because I was within my first 6 months with the company. I am all ready seeking other employment. I am eligible to re-apply in 6 months. Thanks, but no thanks.

What you call choices, I would call desperation.

I would suggest trying out Pumpkin. They have lots of orange in the paint scheme and easily located when a newbie takes them off road.:biggrin_25525:
