Conley installed my 2000 watt free, but I had to re-install it because they did it wrong. After I proved to them the install was wrong I don't have any problems installing my own electical stuff as long as I clear it with them first.

The power drive 2000 has two hot leads. They only fused one.

I believe the thread was started by someone who was happy with Central at the time. It should be in a neutral forum, but no one's ever petitioned to get it moved, that I know of.

I'm guessing it's the new tactic, like in the summer they tell us how many accidents folks have have.

The first "Don't Speed" made me wonder if it was aimed at me directly, although I wasn't speeding. I called my co-worker and he confirmed he got it too, so we guessed it was a new safety meeting.

I don't mine working for Central either. But, I have a position I really like, and I'm going to hold onto it, because starting over elsewhere for a little more money would be a big pain.

Yep, ever notice how quiet early Monday morning is, and then, wham the usual barrage of messages. That's when the meetings adjourn the BS is broadcast to the fleet.:biggrin_25519:

Mix them! Misspell a word every paragraph, and misuse your and you're, and they're, there, and their, and Central won't even notice. I doubt they'll give you a bonus though.

That's one thing that really sucks about leasing. You're charged for normal wear and tear, and there's nothing you can do about it.

12 volt cooler works pretty well. We went through 3 Colemans in 5 months, and had the same problem every time, so we swapped over to Igloo. We went through two, the first Igloo was just too big, and eventually aodpted a funky smell that we couldn't get rid of. I have the second one, it's a smaller one that fits in the opening on my International. It works great, cools well, and runs like a champ.

I think we had it a year before we went local, so I've had it about 15 months and it runs like a top. It's about $120, but it's worth it. We used to eat a lot of sandwiches.

Like others have said, you can purchase an inverter, and for about $75 (shop charge plus the kit) you can have it installed. You can run a microwave with one, just don't buy the puny 1000 watt ones, get 1800 or 2000 watts if you can. Also, they make crock pots, and small ovens. We never used ours much, but I know other people use them a lot.
