my 465T routes me around low clearances all the time. It will NOT route you down a street that has a low clearance.

But it will not tell you why it won't use a street, until you are on that street the garmin does not want you on. Then the restrictions show up.

I have the Gamin Dezl GPS and there are two things I would like to see.

    1. The ability to press on a truck stop and get the information about that truck stop before I add it to my route. I.E. exit number, city, state, and maybe a phone number as well.
My company provides me with recommended fuel stops and exit numbers. So lets say im looking for a Loves Travel Center in West Memphis, AR and im 150 miles away. It takes me some time to find that particular Loves because I have to go through 2-3 different Loves just to find my target. Not to mention I have to reload my next destination(s) all over again.

Also, not all truck stops are on the truck stop list. Sometimes i'll press on exits and a truck stop will show up that wasnt on the main truck stop list.

    2. The ability to count or display toll booths on a route. I know we can avoid them but sometimes it's not worth it to travel 100 miles out of the way and take back roads just to pass three toll booths.

Other than that this GPS is great.

Oh yes it will. I pull a skateboard so I can fit under those bridges that you don't see so I can afford to follow the routing on it wherever it may tell me to go. It comes up with some really messed up routes sometimes.

Clearance aside, it routed across 3 twenty ton bridges and a ten ton bridge on a single road before. Believing it has all that local info in it will get you into more trouble than you can handle real quick.

    EZ Money Thanks this.

It has never tried to route me across a limited weight bridge either. I do check my route before hand. And in some cities it does come up with some strange routes. That is why I have a brain.

Well, some of us don't spend all our time on the interstate.

The hardware needs more beef. Faster map rendering and calculations please.
