How much of this is just being resistant to change? I do understand some of your concerns regarding space in the sleeper. But the rest? It just sounds like you're used ot what you're used to.
Whats the harm in giving them a shot? What will you have lost?

I hear ya. I would take a 'bit' less money for a decent truck. To me, you can't beat a 379.

Like TAZZ noted , buy your own truck , that way you drive what you want and then get to work where you want.

You do realize that a 386 and a 389 have the exact same cab and sleeper, just a different hood and axle placement.

Well we all know the difference between a truck driver and a puppy!
The puppy stops whining after six months. International makes great trucks. It is all what you make of it. Try it for awhile and if you don't like it move on. -
Forget about looking cool going down the road. The first few I saw when I started looked cool. Now they are just another truck...LOL
