I heard she's getting a big severance package, so I'm sure she'll be fine. And I'm glad for her. However, I have to wonder who us drivers will go to now if we're mistreated. I only needed her once, but she helped a great deal. I'm sorry to see her go.
airforcetoo Thanks this. -
Well it makes sense. Since Cushman took over and they rolled everything into T'town there has been a progressive anti driver attitude at Pam. Think about it- Detention pay gone, bonus program changed, took pay away from dedicated routes, newbies have to team, and more. Seems like a natural progression to the "my way or the hiway" attitude Mr Cushman is famous for.

Who's Mr Cushman?
Jeff Adare?
Can you give us new to the business some background on these characters please?!?! -
Mr Cushman is the President.
Jeff Adair is a trainer manager.
Sheesh. I don't even work for PAM and I know this.kid_cardiac and airforcetoo Thank this. -

Oh, and he is big on running as many teams as possible (like CRST).airforcetoo Thanks this. -

So, PAM is likely to become more like CRST? I'm not looking forward to that. I drove for CRST back in 05 and was very happy to leave when my contract was up. I quit them without having something else lined up.
I still have a few months left on my contract with PAM. I think I'll start looking at other options so I'll have a place to go this time.
