When your washer tank and hoses are full of undissolved calcium it will plug up new nozzles quickly. If you maintain your system with vinegar in the tank your problems will fade away.
Poking the nozzle opening to clear it will destroy the built in check valve that prevents constant leakage.
Is there any replacement for the crappy sprayer on the

You don't get calcium in the system from washer fluid. The nozzles are a poor design. Period.

Theoretically in a perfect world you don't. Any restricted orifice will be prone to plugging up by foreign matter and keep you returning to the parts store to drop more dollars, it's calculated that way. Whatever you do, don"t just use vinegar in your tank and go on about your business, that would be too easy and cheap.

If your talking late model like columbia's and such, they just suck. An alternative would be to find the old FLD nozzles or go to a FTL/Western Star dealer and get the Western Star units. Much better.

Something I can insert into the end of the rubber sprayer tubing?
Thanks,

I need new nozzles for my '02 pete and the dealer wanted $55 for EACH nozzle. WTF!?
-
the spray nozzles on my 03 silverado look pretty close to the ones on my columbia, might be a cheap solution.

I was just thinking of looking into a replacement from a car...

Use CLR instead of pickling them.
