denver opened at 1 p.m.. threw on the chains and got to gypsum colorado with an hour to spare for load. going to twin falls. then back to the yard for my tank.

 

unload, chain, kload and tarp. man i'm TIRED.

i'll be in L.A. monday loading oil.

 

So having the weekend off??????

Sent Doug (Dispatcher) JJ's hrs and a message asking about a pre-set, and got the typical dispatcher answer IM WORKING ON IT Yeah righttttttttttt, wanted something set up because I know with the new weekend guy we will be sitting in WA until Monday and boy will I be Peeeeeeved!

 

Well I was right Dougie boy has gone home for the weekend and we will be stuck in washington!

 

And it is raining as usual. I am busy trying to outrun the snow and wind. Think the wind will catch me tomorrow. Still have a chance to out-distance the snow. WA is not all that bad. Going to the TA in N. Bend if you are stuck?

 

beats the heck outta me.

my oil load got cancelled. so i actually get the WHOLE weekend off. took the flat to the plant. i'll either be hauling some fuel to bakersfield to be filtered. to which i'll be stuck hauling from L.A. to bakersfield to filter whatever they got down there. OR, i'll take a tank of fuel to our customer down in commerce. OR, i'll be hauling rebar with my flat to tucson.

i'm in limbo till monday. but i really don't want to be running circles between L.A. and bakersfield with them scales in the middle. my body just don't work the way the govt wants it too. never has, never will.

and they've picked up 10 more tankers. i hope they got something lined up that's gonna keep the tankers busy. cuz i'm ready to kiss the flatbed goodbye. too much miles, not enough sleep for less pay.

i'll stick with the tank. or i'm staying home. due to the way this week started out. i only got 3 flat loads. luckily i didn't get my 3rd tank load turned in on time last week. so i only got paid for 2. so that 3rd load will help out this week's check. cuz it would be small otherwise. the fuel for that load was paid in last week's settlement. so that 3rd load is all money.
