so what are you going to do about the race since it was called until tomorrow??
First time in 54 years......boy it would really SUX if you had tickets and had to leave and not get to see the race!!!!!

Okay and just so you can puff a bit more -there are currently NINETEEN 19 people looking at your thread!!! I don't think I have ever seen so many people in one thread at once!!!

I'll listen to the race on XM. And its the first time in 53 years :biggrin_25525: (this will be the 53rd Daytona 500)

Perhaps i made a poor career move? should i have been a writter? But what would i write about? and i'd be broke after paying people to fix my spelling and grammar :biggrin_25523:

I got rained out at the Coca Cola 600 2-3 years ago, but it wasnt a big deal we always spend the week camping outside the track, so we just partied for one more night lol

I remember when that happened. Had a whole hotel full of PO'd race fans. Also wound up with us overbooked. :biggrin_2552:

Mine stays on when the truck is rolling and sometimes when it ain't.....I ain't but 25 myself I am a young old schooler also.....been raised around them and that's the saying try to be instead of a dern steerin wheel holder. I got fussed at by a boss once for fixin a mechanical problem myself instead of calling and havein a service truck come. I told him if he didn't like me savein them and myself money then I didn't need to be there...he went as far to have the shop look at it and the shop foreman told him that is how he would have fixed it:biggrin_25512: but o well

Don't feel like you are alone, got tongue lashed for fixing an air line instead of calling a service truck. Pulled an end dump a long time. I guess I am just used to getting the truck to make the day.:biggrin_25524:

That would be my problem too...don't see the point sitting on the side of the road for 2-3 hours waiting on a service truck for a repair I can handle in 5 minutes myself. I've got a run to make, and my clock is ticking.

    #### just the other day I fixed an air line on my buddies truck with duct tape, we were empty and trying to get back home, its a wonder what duct tape will do when your trying to get home for the weekend!

Couldn't agree more! Unfortunately lst has a "hands off" policy, and I understand since they have a very new fleet. But most of us areu just as capable as the service techs.
